Grant for Education

Brief Description

Our goal is to introduce UMA Protocol to the potential new & existing projects.

Another Major focus on attracting blockchain developers as India has one of the highest crypto adoption rates which makes this a great opportunity for organic growth & development of new great projects integration of UMA.

Creating general awareness around optimistic oracle with the merits, features and usage into the real world such as Long tail content to Web3.

Tutorial videos on staking of $UMA on multiple platforms, to attract stakers on UMA.

Using our expertise in educational content creation, we will explain basic terms or FAQs around UMA e.g. What is a Synthetic Asset? and more to aware generic crypto audiences.

Detailed description  
\*Project Implementation Plan

The Proposed deliverables for UMA Protocol

1. 5 Product Explainer & Use Cases Videos explaining the History and Background of UMA. Basic explainers, e.g. How Optimistic Oracle is different, The use cases of UMA protocol, How to stake with UMA & more details to create awareness etc.

2. 3 Review Videos showing all the merits & advantages of Optimistic Oracle.

3. 5 Dedicated news updates (Biweekly basis)

4. News Banners for 1 month in all the videos with best use cases (approx in 100+ videos on Finstreet channel)

5. 20 short videos each posted on all platforms (5\*4 = 20 videos) to create a general awareness around UMA. (alternate days of a week).

6. AMA sessions with the people behind UMA. AMA will be conducted based on UMA community members’ availability.

7. Developer Meet-up sessions in Top developer communities.

We believe & looking to create a long-term asset for UMA through our educational campaigns.

1. This campaign will help UMA to reach potential projects & Developers. The content created will be used as helping videos to understand UMA better.

2. Key KPIs to be achieved with the campaign: 12 million views on content related to UMA and 20 million+ impressions of the entire campaign.

3. To create an active developer community for integrating optimistic oracle & smart contracts.

4. To attract potential Stakers to start participation in staking.

5. Finstreet has a massive offline community and direct associations with Top communities and technical clubs. We will share regular updates, opportunities, events and other information within these clubs through our Finstreet Ambassadors.

- How it would be delivered?

Campaign + AMA Scheduling Process

The UMA community members will be given a content calendar within a week of confirmation of the grant. The date and Time of each video will be mentioned and the community members will be notified 1.5 weeks before the Webinar Meetup sessions, to finalize speakers from the UMA community members and feasibility of time and date.  
We want to start our campaign by creating awareness through short videos and explainers on our short video platforms to reach a broader demographic.

After the publication of 8 short Videos, we will start our YouTube campaign with Product 2 Explainer videos. After which we conduct our 1st developer meetup session.  
After the completion of the 1st AMA, we will be posting 2 Review Videos, Final Product Explainer Videos and 8 short videos, before we conduct the 2nd AMA.  
Finally, we will complete the campaign with 1 Ranking video and 4 Short Video.

What are the measurable goals and success factors.  
Grant Timeline:  
The campaign will be 2.5 - 3 Months long.

Milestone 1: Our request is 25% at the start of the process.  
Milestone 2: Next tranche of 50% tokens after 3 tutorials + reviews on the platforms, 12 short videos are published on respective platforms and 1 webinar session with developers.  
Milestone 3: Completion of all the deliverables next 25%

Budget Breakdown:

We are Aiming for the campaign to last 3 Months.

Funds from the grant will be used in the following activities:

A) Cost of the following activities:

Research of the content  
Designing the creatives  
Content architecture  
Video Content Production   
Quality Assurance  
Quarterly reports

B) Setup cost

Monthly Infrastructure cost.  
Miscellaneous operational expenses.

In Total We are aiming to onboard & reach out to 20,000+ potential developer audiences & 100+ potential projects with overall generic reach of 20 Million via our content pieces.

Additional Information  
Results of our recent collaborations:

1. We were able to garner more than 4500+ active enrollments on Near Foundation Certified Developer Courses & 25 million+ impressions via content pieces.
2. We were able to garner more than 7800+ active users & 25 million+ impressions for WazirX in the last 6 months.
3. We are able to get 3800+ users over Huobi Global with our campaign in just 3 months.

Along with this, we have gathered great results for Polygon, VeChain, Chainlink, Near Protocol, Algorand, Klaytn, Balancer, Bancor, AAVE, Zcash, Huobi Global & more such projects.

Do you have example of a campaign you did that specifically targets developers of a protocol? Also, would it be possible to change topics (for example, tutorial videos on staking) with more technical tutorials?

We also believe this is a great time & perfect for a campaign that is inclined towards the vision of grants program to improve UMA developer experiences.

In our previous campaigns, we have done several developer sessions to attract builders onto Polygon - [example](https://youtu.be/3O5X4iL1WZo) & onbaorded a few projects onto Polygon chain from our community. Miningdevs is our dedicated blockchain education arm. Similarly for Near Protocol we did sessions to ensure maximum enrollments to their NCD (Near certified developer courses). We brought more than 4200+ enrollments from potential developers - [example of the video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut9Z6RHgaFA&list=PLcslWfyre80vZ0myjJNxTf9P7bi59LO2V&index=2)

We are flexible on the ideas for the topics moreover we can change it to more technical tutorials as suggested. For example - We will explain the Developer Quickstart Repo. Easily explaining the contracts, overviewing the use cases of all the contracts of Event Based Prediction Markets, Insurance Arbitrator, Internal Optimistic Oracle, Optimistic Arbitrator and Optimistic Deposit box to give developers a proper understanding on how to start working on the contracts.
